The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a well-established and growing nursery!
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive organisation at an exciting stage of growth, with significant investment in the setting and a clear focus on quality and continuous improvement. The nursery currently has an established team of 12 employees and is looking to expand, alongside increasing occupancy.
This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by leading the team through its next phase of development, preparing for an upcoming Ofsted inspection, and supporting an exciting on-site expansion project.
The Position:
Reporting to an experienced Area Manager who provides weekly on-site support and ongoing professional development, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the nursery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and developing a high-performing nursery team.
- Ensuring the nursery remains fully prepared for Ofsted inspections and maintains outstanding standards of care and education.
- Driving occupancy growth and supporting the nursery's continued expansion.
- Managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting the successful delivery of an on-site building expansion project.
- Working closely with the leadership team to achieve operational and commercial objectives.
About You:
We're looking for an experienced nursery leader who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience leading & managing a nursery setting.
- A strong track record of successfully managing multiple Ofsted inspections.
- Excellent knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding and compliance.
- Experience of increasing nursery occupancy and supporting business growth.
- Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills.
- A collaborative, positive and approachable management style.
- A genuine appreciation for maintaining a healthy work-life balance while delivering excellent outcomes.

Due to an upcoming Ofsted inspection and the nursery's ambitious growth plans, previous experience in both inspection readiness and nursery management is essential.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) offering flexibility to support work-life balance.
