Nursery Manager / Deputy Nursery Manager Opportunity
An exciting long-term leadership position is available at a fantastic private nursery in Kensington & Chelsea—an organisation that prioritises staff wellbeing, professional development, and high-quality early years education.
Academics is collaborating with this highly regarded and well-established private nursery to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated Nursery Manager (or Deputy Nursery Manager) to join their team from September 2026.
About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position at the heart of a thriving nursery known for its outstanding care, child-led learning approach, and welcoming family atmosphere. The setting offers:

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading a team to deliver exceptional standards of childcare and education
- Ensuring alignment with EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Supporting staff growth and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Maintaining a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
Requirements
To be considered for this leadership opportunity, applicants must:

- Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Early Years/Childcare
- Have previous experience in a Nursery Manager or senior leadership role in Early Years
- Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding policies
- Be organised, proactive, passionate, and committed to early childhood development
- Possess strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
