Nursery Manager

Chadwell Heath, Romford, London | RM6 | £49,682 | Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Opening Hours 8am-6pm Monday to Friday

Love Childcare Recruitment is looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to join one of London's leading nursery and childcare providers, who operate 40+ nurseries across the capital. Every nursery is rated Ofsted Outstanding or Good.

About the role

The Nursery Manager role is supported primarily by the Area Operations Manager but also by a number of experts, central support teams, and on-site teams who share a passion for the childcare industry and the positive impact that nursery provision can have on children, their families, and future generations to allow you to focus on the day-to-day running of the centre, which includes being responsible for nursery finances, staffing, health and safety, partnering with parents, and ensuring the quality of the curriculum.

This is a large, modern nursery, that caters for up to 47 children daily, has separate rooms for different age groups and a garden for outdoor play. The baby room is also equipped with a gym and sensory area. The children enjoy varied activities, including photography, woodwork, ICT, yoga, dialogic reading, cycling and more! The nursery also has a music teacher in once a week for music and language groups with the children and staff.

You will find them close to Chadwell Heath station on the Elizabeth Line and Farrance Road bus stop on the 62, 86, 362, N86 bus routes.

You will need:

  • A full and relevant level 3 (or above) childcare qualification
  • Proven experience managing or leading in an Early Years/Nursery environment with a coaching approach to developing a team of staff
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the EYFS Framework
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Proven experience and evidence of improving performance
  • The ability to build strong, nurturing relationships with all stakeholders
  • A passion for childcare and child development
