Nursery Manager
The Nursery Manager works closely with the Director whilst also being expected to work autonomously in relation to everyday management responsibilities. The role requires the confidence to make decisions considering the reputation and financial aspects of the business while balancing a high degree of sensitivity to the needs of children and families.
They provide operational management of the nursery facilities and staff, ensuring a high-quality education and care is delivered at all times, and are responsible for company adherence to Banana Moon policies and procedures. They consistently meet legislative requirements and follow the Early Learning and Development Programme, delivering standards that ensure the highest possible inspection grading.

The Nursery Manager ensures that the training, support, mentoring and supervision of the staff team inspires and leads ambitious practice. They create a safe, caring and welcoming setting to which families are happy to entrust their child and where their child is encouraged and supported to flourish in an enabling and stimulating environment.
They promote a successful and profitable business, engaging with the local community and marketing the nursery to reach maximum occupancy while providing excellent customer care.

Requirements
Minimum Level 3 in Childcare (Level 5 or higher desirable) Proven leadership experience in an early years setting Strong understanding of the EYFS and Ofsted requirements Excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills A positive, proactive approach and a genuine passion for children's development
