Are you an experienced Nursery Manager or a successful Deputy Nursery Manager ready to take the next step in your career? Shooting Stars Nurseries is looking for a passionate and inspiring leader to oversee our beautifully refurbished Tettenhall Nursery & Preschool. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, award-winning nursery group and lead a thriving setting caring for up to 85 children across four age-specific rooms.

You'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference every day, leading a dedicated team, supporting children's learning and development, building strong relationships with families, and helping shape the future success of the nursery.

About the Role

As Nursery Manager, you will provide both operational and educational leadership, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding throughout the nursery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire your team

    • Support, motivate, and develop a passionate team of Early Years professionals
    • Create a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Deliver exceptional childcare and education

    • Maintain high-quality practice in line with the EYFS framework
    • Support outstanding outcomes for children
  • Champion safeguarding and wellbeing

    • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
    • Ensure safeguarding processes are fully embedded and followed
  • Build strong family partnerships

    • Develop positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
    • Act as an ambassador for the nursery within the local community
  • Drive nursery success

    • Monitor occupancy, budgets, and performance indicators
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience within Early Years
  • At least 2 years' leadership or management experience in a nursery or Early Years setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent people leadership and team development skills
  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional outcomes for children and families
