About the Role
Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking a Nursery Manager to be based at (insert site) in our Nuffield Health gym. This is a fantastic opportunity to help run one of the brilliant Nuffy Bear nurseries inside the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity. We’re Ofsted registered and we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. Key Responsibilities
As our Nursery Manager you’ll need to be qualified with the NNEB, an NVQ Level 3/4, BTEC or BA Hons (or equivalent). You will have experience of managing a team and an enhanced DBS check. Crucially, you’re great at communicating with parents, carers and external professionals.
As a Nursery Manager, you will:
- Ensure our nursery and its team provide the best possible high-quality care and education
- Champion the health, growth and development of every child in our care
- Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Oversee planning activities and assessments while implementing updates to childcare legislation
- Hold overall responsibility for SEN and Safeguarding and Compliance
- Lead and develop your team to drive quality
- Lead an Ofsted inspection
- Drive the nursery to provide exceptional high-quality standards in line with the Nuffy Bear Ethos
- Have experience with operational and commercial elements of a Nursery, such as occupancy and revenue targets
