Salary: Up to £55,785.66 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Bright Horizons is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Nursery Manager to join the long-standing team at our Good-rated Holland Park Day Nursery and Preschool. Located in the heart of Notting Hill, this setting delivers outstanding care, inspirational learning experiences, and a vibrant rooftop garden.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team to deliver exCEPTIONAL care and education to children.
- Driving employee engagement, retention, and performance through outstanding leadership.
- Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, overseeing safeguarding policies and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborating with support teams to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing staff.
- Optimising nursery performance, revenue generation, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities
As Nursery Manager, you will be expected to:
- Lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding childcare and early years education.
- Oversee safeguarding protocols, ensuring policies meet legal standards.
- Recruit, develop, and retain staff aligned with Bright Horizons’ values.
- Drive strategic growth, ensuring compliance with FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) staffing ratios.
- Foster strong partnerships with parents, staff, and stakeholders.
- Champion innovation and best practice in pedagogy and early years.
- Make confident decisions in commercially driven yet regulated settings.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Necessary:
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Leadership experience in an Early Years setting (e.g., as a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, or Assistant Manager).
- Demonstrated experience of particIPating in a regulatory inspection resulting in a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ classification.
- Experience developing high-performance teams, upholding regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and service excellence.

- Proven ability as a confident decision-maker, capable of navigating change and balancing financial/safeETY objectives.
- Deep knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and regulatory legislation in Early Years.
- Skill in building trust and collaboration with both colleagues and parents.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
