Early Years Educator – Gloucester (Nuffield Health Gym-Based Nursery)
Gloucester | Nursery | Permanent | Full-Time
💰 Salary: Up to £28,704.00 per annum (depending on experience) ⏰ Hours: 40 per week
About the Role
Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking an early years educator to join our dedicated team based in our Nuffield Health gym。
As part of our nursery, you’ll provide full-day care, sessional care, and pre-school services for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and offer a unique wellbeing-focused approach, including special swimming lessons for children over 3, making this a truly exciting and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education while promoting health, safety, and wellbeing.
- Help children achieve their full potential with the best early developmental opportunities.
- Support nursery educators in implementing the EYFS curriculum.
- Ensure learning is child-focused and aligned with developmental milestones.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities.
- Maintain clear communication with parents/carers and external professionals.
Ideal Candidate
✔ Must hold:
- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (NVQ Level 3, NNEB, or equivalent).
- Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
✔ Preferred (but not essential):
- Paediatric first aid qualification.
✔ All candidates must complete a:
- Enhanced DBS check.
