Nursery Nurse
Nursery Nurse – Farnborough, GU14 6SF
Every day is an adventure in this exciting and rewarding role! As a Nursery Nurse, you’ll be part of a caring team that supports children from 3 months to pre-school age. You’ll bring energy, creativity, and warmth to every day—helping little ones thrive in a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment.
Salary: Up to £30,222 per annum
Working arrangements:
- Full time (40 hours a week)
- Job shares (2–3 days a week)
- Part time (20 hours a week)
- Supply roles to support work/life balance
Important note: Applications will not be considered without a full and relevant qualification or experience in the childcare sector.

About Our Nursery
Located in The Old Library (a two-storey Grade II listed building), Toad Hall Nursery Farnborough opened in September 2025. It offers spacious rooms and a large natural garden for children.
As a new setting, you’ll help shape the nursery while embracing the 30-year-established Toad Hall approach. We have plans for a Forest School (2026) and preschool expansion.
We provide a warm, welcoming environment where both children and staff learn, grow, and thrive.

Toad Hall Nursery Group was founded in 1993. Today, we operate 14 settings with 440 employees supporting 1,100 children daily. As part of this supportive nursery group, you’ll join a caring community that values individuality, teamwork, and inclusivity.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Suitable qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
- Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including using it for activity planning
- Knowledge of planning, observation, and record-keeping
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs
- Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check required
