About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and committed Nursery Nurse to join our dynamic nursery serving two, three, and four-year-olds. This opportunity allows you to be part of a new, growing early years provision and contribute to shaping young children’s educational journeys from the very beginning.

Lift Hamford is a vibrant, Lift Schools-linked nursery that received a good inspection in November 2022. Located in our coastal community, we prioritise high-quality early years education, ensuring children receive the best opportunity for success.

As a Nursery Nurse, your role is central to delivering exceptional early years care and education, nurturing relationships with children and families, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging learning activities tailored to young children’s needs
  • Build trusting relationships with a key group of children and their families/parents
  • Observe and assess children’s development, contributing to EYFS profiles and learning records
  • Support children with SEN (Special Educational Needs) and promote inclusive practice
  • Foster language development, independence, confidence, and personal care skills

  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to support each child’s progress

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
