Role Overview
Part-time & full-time positions available at Toad Hall Nursery Group
- Salary: Up to £29,869 per annum
- Bonus: £1,000 new starter bonus for Level 3 Nursery Nurse (full-time) roles (Applies if you apply by 11:59 pm on Tuesday 30th June 2026).
About the Team
As a Nursery Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the early years of children aged 3 months to pre-school.
Your daily responsibilities will include ensuring fun, safety, attentive care tailored to each child’s individual needs.
We actively recruit for:
- Full-time (40 hrs/week)
- Part-time (20 hrs/week)
- Supply Team (zero-hours contract)
- Lunch coverage roles (qualified staff only)
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide high-quality early years care (ages 0–5)
- Ensure smooth daily operations through adherence to nursery policies and procedures
- Use creativity to develop new activities based on children’s interests and needs
- Establish strong relationships with children and communicate effectively with parents
- Foster a fun and engaging learning environment each day

Essential Requirements

Qualifications:
- An NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification

Experience & knowledge:
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Familiarity with quality-assured activity planning, observation, and record-keeping
- Passionate about working with young children and nurturing their development
- Flexibility to work with HoDs, teachers and colleagues to meet our high standards

- Enhanced DBS Check is a mandatory requirement for this role
