Nursery Practitioner (1pm–6pm)
Location: Kiddi Caru Day Nursery, Grange Park (part of Grandir UK)
Salary: £26,666 – £28,288 per annum (FTE), depending on experience and qualifications Hours: Part-time (1pm–6pm shift) Regular pay reviews
About the Role
We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our supportive, child-focused team at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery. In this role, you’ll play a key part in nurturing, supporting, and inspiring children, fostering curiosity, and helping them thrive through enriching experiences.
Core Responsibilities
- Promote high-quality childcare standards (environment, resources, experiences aligned with children’s ages)
- Take key carer responsibility for allocated children, ensuring their safety, development, and wellbeing
- Support children with stimulating, age-appropriate activities (indoor and outdoor)
- Maintain day-to-day management of the nursery environment in the absence of the Team/Room Leader
- Ensure compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements
- Mentor students and unqualified staff, upholding friendly yet professional relationships with parents/carers
