About The Role
Are you a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking for a stable, long-term career move? We are recruiting a passionate Early Years Educator for a permanent full-time position at a welcoming nursery in Horley.
This role offers consistent hours (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM), ongoing professional development, and the opportunity to become a key part of a dedicated team helping local children thrive.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Permanent Nursery Practitioner in Horley, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Delivering EYFS Education: Planning and running engaging, play-based activities tailored to children's developmental needs under the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Key Person Duties: Managing a dedicated group of key children, tracking their milestones, and keeping progress records updated.
- Providing High-Quality Care: Ensuring a safe, clean, and emotionally supportive environment for babies and young children.
- Parental Engagement: Building strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers to provide daily updates on their child's progress.
- Safeguarding and Health: Upholding high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and child protection at all times.

Requirements And Qualifications
- Qualification: NVQ / CACHE / NCFE Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding protocols.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a UK nursery, early years, or pre-school setting.
- DBS: An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to complete one).
- Attributes: Reliable, caring, proactive, and committed to a long-term early years career.
