Our Ruddington Day Nursery in Nottingham, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

About Our Nursery
Ruddington Day Nursery is a happy and friendly nursery, a place where children can thrive in a nurturing and stimulating environment. We’re an established Forest School set in the picturesque village of Ruddington, Nottingham. Our nursery is renowned for its beautiful big garden and spacious grounds overlooking serene horse fields.
Fantastic Outdoor Space
Our expansive garden is a standout feature, offering a beautiful outdoor space where children can explore, play, and learn. We also offer Forest School sessions in a dedicated woodland area, where children can take part in activities such as den building, nature crafts, and even fire lighting, helping to build confidence and practical skills.

Location
Ruddington Day Nursery is ideally located in the heart of Ruddington, set within the green belt countryside on Wilford Road between Ruddington and Wilford. Situated just across from the golf club and close to the village centre, the nursery is easily accessible from all areas south of Nottingham, with ample outdoor space that also supports convenient and stress-free school pick-ups.
What Will You Be Doing
Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development Prepare and support children’s activities In the absence of the Team/Room Leader maintain effective day-to-day management of the environment Contribute to ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage Support and mentor students and un-qualified staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
