Role Description
Nursery Practitioners are responsible for delivering high-quality care and early years education, creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. In this full-time remote role, practitioners will:

- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities
- Support children’s physical, emotional, and social development
- Observe and record developmental progress in line with early years frameworks
- Communicate regularly with families, sharing updates on children’s experiences and milestones
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistent standards of care and safeguarding
- Maintain a clean and safe learning environment
- Follow health, safety, and safeguarding procedures
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings conducted remotely

Qualifications
- Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent) and experience working with babies and young children.
- Knowledge of early years learning frameworks, child development principles, and best practices in play-based learning.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues in a remote setting.
- Commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, and promoting an inclusive, non-discriminatory environment for all children and families.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to plan activities, keep accurate records, and work effectively in a full-time role.
- Comfort with using digital tools and technology to support communication, documentation, and remote teamwork.
- Patience, empathy, and a child-centered approach, with a genuine interest in supporting children’s wellbeing and early learning.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of families and the nursery, and willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
