Early Years Practitioner (Level 2)

Our Durham Road Day Nursery in Raynes Park, part of Grandir UK, is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner with a Level 2 qualification to join our team. You’ll support, engage, and have fun with children, nurturing their growth while fostering a positive and vibrant learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner, your role will include:

  • Ensuring high-quality practice: By following, promoting, and delivering Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines.
  • Supporting and supervising: Team members in playroom duties and maintaining room quality standards.
  • Child placement and care: Ensuring keycarer procedures are implemented effectively—matching children with staff based on their needs.
  • Promoting transparent communication: Sharing progress updates, concerns, or achievements with parents and carers.
  • Marketing the nursery: Showcasing our excellent facilities and catering to both existing and potential parents.
  • Cultivating a positive culture: Developing and fostering healthy relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers.
