As an Early Years Educator, you will play a leading role in fostering the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children at Busy Bees, a UK-leading nursery group with nearly 400 nurseries across the country.

Eligibility and Qualifications
Busy Bees operates from an Ofsted Outstanding-rated nursery in Leamington Spa, with a capacity of 122 children. Our management and core team bring over 20 years of combined experience and focus on delivering exceptional care and developmental support.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and adapt activities that foster engagement, learning, and holistic development for children (0–5).

Create safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environments tailored to diverse needs.

Take on the role of the Key Person—building trusting relationships with children and their families.

Track developmental progress through observations and assessments, sharing insights with parents and colleagues.

Maintain a clean, hygienic, and engaging environment at all times.

Support safeguarding policies to ensure child welfare and staff accountability.

**Collaborate with colleagues—**including early year professionals, ofsted–defined assessors, and leadership—to enhance curriculum delivery.

Administer care within group sizes and staffing ratios: 1 adult to 4 toddlers (1:4), and 1 adult to 1 baby (0-18 months, 1:3 under 1 year).
Requirements
- Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in childhood care and education (EYE, NVQ 2, or Diploma).
- Experience working with young children is essential and previous roles such as Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Assistant, or Nurse are preferred.
- Understanding of early years development principles, including learning and play-based strategies.
- Empathy and emotional intelligence—ability to nurture individual needs.
- Strong communication (both verbal and written) with families and colleagues.
- Organisational skills to efficiently manage multi-child classes and administrative tasks.
