Early Years Educator – Busy Bees, Coventry Allesley Green

About the Role
As an Early Years Educator, you’ll play a critical role in fostering the intellectual, social, and emotional development of young children. With a focus on high-quality education, Busy Bees offers outstanding training, career progression, and a nurturing workplace culture.
Our bee Curious curriculum, developed in-house, thrives on creativity, inspiration, and play-based learning, ensuring children build confidence and curiosity.
Located in Coventry Allesley Green (an Ofsted Outstanding nursery with a 46-child capacity), this role will give you the chance to work in a friendly setting with a team of experienced staff, including Centre Director Becky Curran, who has nearly 32 years in early years. The nursery is committed to community engagement, collaborates with local businesses, and offers flexible working arrangements where possible.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and review engaging educational activities aligned with the EYFS framework, promoting holistic child development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that nurtures both individual and group progress.
- Act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and their families, ensuring continuity of care.
- Track and assess children’s development through observations, supporting parents with progress updates in partnership with the team.
Requirements
- Current/supported Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare (or degree equivalent if applicable).
- Direct experience working with children under 5 years old in a nursery/early years setting.
- Empathy and adaptability – recognising each child’s unique strengths and needs.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Previous roles such as Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant, or Nursery Nurse are highly desirable but not mandatory where sufficient experience is present.
