Key Responsibilities

As an Early Years Educator, you will:

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities, using the Bee Curious framework
  • Create safe, engaging, and inclusive spaces for learning
  • Act as a Key Person, developing trusting relationships with children and families
  • Track and document progress through regular observations (e.g. summative assessments per EYFS)
  • Support small group and individual learning demands
  • Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote well-being

Requirements & Ideal Background

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

✔ Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (Practice or Knowledge Qualification) ✔ Proven hands-on experience working with children under 5 ✔ Empathy and flexibility—recognising every child is unique ✔ Strong communication and organisational skills

Preferred but not mandatory:

  • Prior role as an Early Years Educator/Nursery Practitioner/Nursery Assistant/Nursery Nurse
  • Experience with special needs support or differentiated learning
