Busy Bees Irby is an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" nursery, with a capacity of 70 children, located in a charming converted farmhouse-style building featuring a beautifully refurbished landscaped garden.

What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner

  • Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to engage children.
  • Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities supporting physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development and care, fostering strong family connections.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education
  • Proven experience working with children under 5
  • A genuine interest in early childhood education
  • Key skills:
    • Good communication capabilities
    • Excellent organisational skills
    • Ability to apply knowledge of child development in planning and delivery
