About Our Nursery – Busy Bees Pershore (Birlingham)

  • Ofsted Rating: Outstanding
  • Capacity: 62 children
  • Facility: Three-story building with dedicated age-specific base rooms and a spacious outdoor play area
  • Location: Just outside Pershore, easily accessible from Evesham, Tewkesbury, and Worcester (though no direct bus routes).
  • Team: Highly dedicated group of 22 staff, including part-time and relief roles.

Key Responsibilities

As an Early Years Educator, your role will include:

  • Providing a Safe, Stimulating Environment

    • Preparing educational materials and space layouts to foster growth and learning
    • Ensuring health, safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Delivering Engaging Educational Activities

    • Planning and leading structured play that supports physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development
    • Aligning teaching with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

  • Building Strong Relationships & Supporting Families

    • Acting as a Key Person for children, tracking progress, care needs, and personal development
    • Maintaining open communication with parents and safeguarding teams
  • Team Collaboration & Professional Responsibility

    • Working effectively with colleagues and managers to maintain high-quality care

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Leaf Level 3 (or Level 4+ for charge assise coordination) qualification in Early Years Education (Often referred to as ‘DipECE’)
  • Proven experience working directly with children under 5
  • Genuine passion for early childhood development
  • Skills & Attributes
    • Excellent communication with children, parents, and colleagues
    • Superior organisational abilities
    • Criticalthinker – applying child development principles to daily practices
    • Collaborative team player who values diversity, equity and empowerment
