Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

Orca Operations Group is recruiting on behalf of one of our valued nursery clients for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly and supportive team in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic childcare professional who is committed to providing outstanding care and early years education. You'll play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Observe, monitor, and record children's progress and developmental milestones.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Support children's emotional, social, physical, and intellectual development through play-based learning.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to children's learning journals and assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to deliver exceptional standards of care.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Level 3 Childcare qualification.
  • Confident written and spoken English.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A caring, patient, and positive approach.

Desirable

  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures and best practices.
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification (advantageous).
