About Our Nursery
Join our enthusiastic team at Busy Bees St Albans Bernard Street, an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 63 children. Our longstanding staff are committed to providing the best possible start to every child, with strong links to local schools and food banks to support our community.

What To Expect As a Nursery Practitioner
- Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials, arrange rooms to encourage children’s growth and learning.
- Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities supporting children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development—aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Key Person Role: Oversee each child’s development, care needs, and build strong connections with their families.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience:
- Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education
- Proven experience working with children under 5
- Shared enthusiasm for early childhood education
Key Skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organisational ability
- Application of child development knowledge for creating engaging activities
