Job Role: Early Years Educator

The Early Years Educator plays a key role in fostering each child’s intellectual, social, and emotional development through engaging, educational activities.

Responsibilities (As a Nursery Practitioner)

  • Create a safe and stimulating environment
    • Organise materials and set up engaging learning spaces
  • Lead educational activities
    • Plan and deliver experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Key Person Role
    • Track children’s development, support care needs, and strengthen family links

Requirements

  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education required
  • Experience working with children under 5 (previous roles as Nursery Practitioner, Assistant, or Nurse preferred)
  • Essential Skills:
    • Strong communication and organisational abilities
    • Knowledge of child development to plan meaningful activities
