Where You’ll Work: Busy Bees – Milton Keynes Browns Wood
Join our dedicated team at our Milton Keynes – Browns Wood nursery, rated Good by Ofsted with a capacity for 101 children. Our experienced staff—including a dedicated chef—prioritise Teaching for Quality and Mindfulness (TfQ&M) principles, ensuring strong, secure relationships with children and families. We actively engage with local schools, attending parent-related events like parents’ evenings and conducting stay-and-play sessions for new intakes. Our nursery is conveniently located near a bus stop, with a designated parking area for staff. What You’ll Do as a Nursery Practitioner
- Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children’s growth and learning.
- Deliver Educational Activities: Plan and lead activities that support children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development under the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Key Person Role: Oversee children’s developmental needs and build trusting relationships with families.
Requirements
- Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years Education
- Proven experience working with children under 5
- Strong interest in early childhood education
- Key skills:
- Good communication abilities
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Understanding of child development to design and deliver engaging activities
