Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3) Wanted - Join Our Early Years Supply Team in Huddersfield!

Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Practitioner looking for flexible work within early years settings?

Stafflex Education is seeking passionate Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our friendly supply team, supporting a variety of nurseries and early years settings across Huddersfield and the surrounding areas.

About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years
  • Support children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn through play
  • Assist with daily routines including meal times, personal care, and sleep routines
  • Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and language development
  • Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents/carers
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and nursery policies at all times
  • Adapt confidently to different nursery environments and teams

Requirements

  • Essential: Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year's experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and wellbeing
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
  • Flexible, reliable, and professional approach to work
