Nursery Practitioner Qualified Level 2
Nursery: Treehouse Nursery School, Orchard School, Filton Road, Horfield, Bristol, BS7 0XY Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday. Term time and part time working hours will also be considered Salary: Up to £12.90 per hour Benefits: Performance related bonus, 50% childcare discount, wellness day and much much more.
We’re easily accessible via multiple bus routes and just 10 minutes from the city centre. Free on-site parking is available, and we also provide a complimentary lunch. Conveniently located, we’re only 10 minutes from both the M4 and M5 motorways.
Hi, I'm Lorraine, the Nursery Manager at Treehouse.
Our nursery is a place full of wonder and inspiration, where natural resources are thoughtfully used to spark children's imaginations. Every day, we encourage our children to be inquisitive and adventurous, helping them build confidence, develop a love of learning, and nurture a curious mind.
Our large outdoor spaces and natural wooden playhouses invite children to connect their imaginations with the world around them, fostering a deep appreciation for nature. We recognise that every child is unique, with their own story to tell. That’s why we tailor learning experiences to each child’s individual needs and pace—ensuring they feel valued, supported, and excited to learn.

About the role:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:

Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily

Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions

Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments
About you:

A true love for child development and care

Able and willing to work in a team

Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents

High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity

Knowledge of the EYFS framework
Must haves:
- A full and relevant [https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-qualifications-achieved-in-england]Level 2 qualification within early years
