Role: Nursery Practitioner (qualified or unqualified) Location: Brinds Well Day Nursery | Chelsfield, Orpington | BR6 7PH Contract: Permanent | 10 hours/week | 52 weeks/year Working Pattern: 16:00–18:00 | Monday–Friday Salary: £12.87–£15.59 per hour

About You

We’re looking for passionate individuals who:

  • Have some experience caring for babies and children under five, ideally in early years.
  • Hold a DfE-approved early years qualification (level 2 or above) – advantageous but not essential.
  • Create engaging learning opportunities:
    • Apply knowledge of child development and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
    • Support Key Person assessments across early years provision.
  • Champion safeguarding: Prioritize child safety, well-being, and happiness.
  • Collaborate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, building strong relationships.

  • Your workday begins at Orpington or St Mary Cray train stations, and we cover taxi fares to/from the nursery every shift.
  • Must be resident in a commutable area and have valid Right to Work (no visa sponsorship available).
