Nursery Practitioners – Full-Time - Play Out
Based – Play Out Nursery in Ipswich
Salary: £26,227 – Real Living Wage
We are looking for Nursery Practitioners – Full-Time working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Part-Time hours are also available.
Ormiston Families, trading as Play Out Nursery, is one of the leading charities working with children, young people, and families in the East of England. We take early and preventative action to support families to be safe, healthy, and resilient.
We are looking for enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners who want to be involved in looking after all aspects of a young child’s development. You will play a vital role in helping children to grow socially and emotionally, as well as supporting aspects of their physical and cognitive development.

Responsibilities
- Being hands-on with the children in the setting (ranging from babies to pre-schoolers)
- Joining in with play, reading stories, singing songs
- Being alongside the children in their day-to-day activities
- Developing a relationship with the parents and carers of the children
- Talking to them about all aspects of their child’s day in nursery
- Planning activities for the children in your care
- Maintaining health and hygiene standards
Requirements
- Passion for looking after and developing children
- Full and relevant level 3 qualification or equivalent
