Room Leader - Join Our Team at Busy Bees

As a Room Leader at Busy Bees, the UK's leading nursery group, you will oversee multiple rooms and ensure that educational strategies are seamlessly integrated across the centre. This impactful leadership role will allow you to inspire your team to achieve the highest standards of care and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum within assigned rooms
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Supported leadership to grow a high-performing early-years team through mentorship and collaboration
  • Oversee children’s developmental progress, tracking and communicating with parents
  • Serve as Key Person for a group of children by addressing their needs holistically
  • Maintain health and safety compliance, ensuring a clean and secure environment

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Level 3 qualification (or higher) in early years education
  • Relevant experience in early years settings – ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Manager, or Practitioner
  • Demonstrated supervisory or team-leading experience in nursery environments

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Commitment to fostering positive child development and building trust with families
  • Passionate about nurturing early-years education and continuous growth
