Nursery Room Leader

Room Leader – ** Busy Bees Newbury**

Join Our Team at Busy Bees – the leading nursery group in the UK

As a Room Leader, you will oversee multiple rooms and ensure that educational strategies are seamlessly integrated across the centre. This is a leadership role, where you will inspire your team to achieve the highest standards of care and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and execution of age-specific activities and curriculum
  • Design a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children
  • Foster and develop a high-performing team with supportive leadership and teamwork
  • Oversee children’s development and wellbeing, ensuring professional progress tracking and regular parent communication
  • Serve as a Key Person, nurturing the holistic development and personal care needs of a designated group of children
  • Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring a secure and clean environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualification: Level 3 or above in early years education
  • Experience: Prior experience in an early years setting, with preference for leadership roles (Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Manager, or Practitioner preferred)
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
  • Passion: Dedicated to supporting children’s development and building positive family relationships
