Room Leader Role – Busy Bees Muslim Nurseries

As a Room Leader at Busy Bees, you will oversee multiple rooms and ensure that educational strategies are seamlessly integrated across the centre. This is a leadership role where you will inspire your team to achieve the highest standards of care and learning.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Management

  • Lead the planning, organisation, and execution of age-appropriate activities and educational programmes
  • Supervise and manage a team of Early Years Professionals
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children
  • Enhance team performance through supportive leadership, collaboration, and professional development

Childcare & Progress Tracking

  • Oversee holistic child development, ensuring daily monitoring and progress documentation
  • Serve as the Key Person, building strong relationships with families and supporting children’s emotional and behavioural needs
  • Deliver regular updates to parents about their child’s progress

Administrative & Safety Duties

  • Ensure alignment with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and Ofsted standards
  • Maintain a secure, clean, and safe environment, managing daily operations effectively
  • Uphold health and safety protocols, including safeguarding procedures

Ideal Candidate: Qualifications & Skills

  • Essential:

    • A qualification at Level 3 or higher in Early Years Education (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Early Years)
    • Proven experience in an early years setting (e.g., Nursery Room Leader, Manager, or Practitioner)
  • Advantages:

    • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in early years education
    • Demonstrable skills in strong leadership, organisation, and communication
  • Key Traits:

    • Passionate about supporting children’s development and building trusting relationships with families
    • Excellent emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills
    • Organisational and detail-oriented with a keen eye for best practice
