Nursery Room Leader (Level 3)
Location: Monkey Puzzle, Lightwater
Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
Salary: £29,536.00 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting your team to grow and perform at a high standard, while ensuring all legislation and EYFS frameworks are adhered to
- Engaging your team to create inspirational, creative, and effective learning environments in line with the needs of the children and nursery
- Fostering a family feel nursery that prioritises happiness for everyone
- Ensuring the safety and welfare of children through:
- Confident safeguarding processes and procedures
- EYFS implementation with a strong understanding of child development
- Reporting concerns to a senior team member or relevant services
- Building partnerships with parents and partners to help children thrive
- Maintaining a positive attitude towards children, parents, colleagues, and visitors
- Clear and accurate record-keeping and report writing
- Promoting high standards of practice, environment, and resources

Essentials
Minimum Requirements
✔ Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification ✔ Safeguarding knowledge ✔ At least 2 years' experience working as a nursery practitioner or similar in Early Years settings

- An appropriate criminal record Disclosure and Barring check (exempt from Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974)
- Awareness of amendments to the Exceptions Order (2013 & 2020) regarding protected convictions and cautions
