Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute age-appropriate activities and a cohesive curriculum for assigned rooms
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children
  • Lead a high-performing team through effective collaboration, communication, and supportive leadership
  • Oversee children’s holistic development, documenting progress and maintaining open communication with parents
  • Serve as a Key Person, addressing both emotional and practical care needs for assigned children
  • Ensure health and safety compliance, keeping the environment clean, secure, and compliant with regulations

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • Degree-equivalent qualification (Level 3 or above) in early years education
  • Relevant experience in an early years setting—preferably with supervisory experience (e.g., Nursery Room Leader, Manager, or Senior Practitioner)
  • Strong leadership skills, exceptional organisation, and communication abilities
  • Passion for nurturing children’s growth alongside positive, engaging relationships with families
