Camberwell / Peckham, London | SE5 | £35,012 | Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Love Childcare Recruitment is hiring a Nursery Room Leader to join one of London's leading nursery and childcare providers, who operate 40+ nurseries across the capital. Every nursery is rated Ofsted Outstanding or Good.
About the role
As a Nursery Room Leader, you'll lead a room team, deliver the EYFS framework, and build strong relationships with children and parents within a nursery group recognised for their outstanding practice and a genuine social-impact mission across London communities.
Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, this is a bright, spacious nursery with a large garden. where staff use imaginative play to stimulate each child’s curiosity. Activities include yoga and PE, singing and signing nursery rhymes, messy arts play, cooking, construction and much more! The nursery also has it's own allotment on-site, where the children enjoy growing vegetables.

You will find the nursery close to Denmark Hill and East Dulwich train stations and Champion Hill bus stop on the 40, 176, 185, and 484 bus routes.

You will need:
- Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification
- Experience managing or leading a room in an Early Years/Nursery setting
- Comprehensive knowledge of the EYFS Framework
- A track record of improving performance in a nursery room or setting
- Strong, nurturing relationships with children and parents
- A genuine passion for childcare and child development
