Nursery Room Leader

Join Our Team as a Nursery Room Leader!

At Barnt Green, we’re seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to inspire young minds, guide our team, and deliver outstanding care and education.

You must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Note: We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Pay & Hours

  • Salary: £29,120 per annum (based on experience), 40 hours/week (Mon-Fri).
  • Location: 42 Sandhills Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8NR — Just 30 mins from Birmingham and a 5-min walk from Barnt Green train station with parking across the road.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nursery Room Leader, you’ll:

  • Lead and mentor the team to deliver high-quality early years education.
  • Support Nursery Operations alongside the Manager to ensure consistency.
  • Act as a role model for initiative and excellence in childcare.
  • Build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies.
  • Implement EYFS framework guidelines while creating engaging learning experiences.
  • Cover operations when the Nursery Manager is absent.
  • Champion continuous improvement through feedback and professional development.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
