Nursery Room Leader ( Toddlers 1-2 years )
Nursery Room Leader – Leatherhead
Salary: Up to £33,000 per year (depending on qualifications & experience) Contract: Full-time, permanent Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Leatherhead Nursery as an experienced and passionate Room Leader.

Your Role
As a Room Leader, you will:
- Plan and deliver activities that meet children’s developmental needs
- Provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment in line with EYFS standards
- Monitor, record, and celebrate milestones in children’s development
- Communicate effectively with families to build strong relationships
- Lead and support colleagues to maintain high-quality care and learning
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies

About You
We’re looking for a candidate with:
- Full & relevant Level 3+ Early Years qualification – essential
- Previous experience in an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, or Early Years Educator)
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood education
- Commitment to delivering the highest standards of care
