Nursery Room Leader

Room Leader – Busy Bees Nursery Group

About the Role

As a Room Leader, you will:

  • Lead multiple rooms while embedding educational excellence through our Bee Curious curriculum.
  • Inspire and develop your team to deliver high standards of care and learning through collaborative leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Leadership: Plan, align, and execute age-appropriate, high-quality educational activities.
  • Team Supervision: Develop your staff through empowering leadership and mentorship.
  • Child Advocacy & Care:
    • Design safe, inclusive learning environments tailored to diverse needs.
    • Assign Key Person role to nurture children’s emotional, social, and developmental progress.
    • Track progress and communicate effectively with parents.
  • Safety Compliance: Uphold strict health & safety standards.
  • Whole-Child Focus: Ensure well-being, progress tracking, and homogeneous personalised care.

IdealCandidate

Experience & Qualifications

  • Level 3 or higher in early years education.
  • Preference for candidates with prior supervisory roles (nursery manager, key person, or termed “with a ready to lead status”).

Key Competencies

  • Strong leadership (managing large childcare responsibilities).
  • Exceptional communication skills (building collaborative relationships across families + colleagues).
  • Passion for child development—dedicated to creating positive, engaging learning journeys.
