The Role: Nursery Room Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Leading a team of staff to plan, create, and deliver engaging daily activities for children
- Developing warm, collaborative relationships with parents and management team
- Implementing LEYF’s unique curriculum while adapting to individual children’s needs
- Encouraging creative teaching methods (e.g, school trips, team activities, sensory play, food prep)
- Ensuring safeguarding, accessibility, and high standards of care

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
- Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification
- The Right to Work in the UK
- Strong child safeguarding knowledge
- Positive, flexible, and friendly – with passion for early years education
About Thames Reach Nursery
Address: Thamesmead, SE28 A new purpose-built LEYF nursery opening in 2023, its first built from scratch in Greenwich. Partnered with Peabody Community Foundation, it aims to enrich the local Thamesmead community.
