Nursing Assistant Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Southeast and Central Community Nursing Team as a Nursing Assistant.

The Trust is committed to provide opportunities for development for all staff to help reach their full potential and if not already obtained there is an expectation that the Care Certificate Programme will be completed. We also provide training opportunities to enhance clinical skills required to provide high and safe quality care in line with the Trusts values.

Responsibilities

The Healthcare Assistant within a community setting works as a member of a wider community nursing team to deliver clinical care to patients including the performance of diagnostic tests and the delivery of personal and delegated nursing care to individuals with chronic health problems. Although the post holder receives support and supervision from registered nurses, she/he is expected to work unsupervised in the patient's own home, the surgery, and in residential home environments. The health care assistant will have delegated responsibility to order and rotate stock to support the team. The post holder will also undertake administrative tasks allocated by the team lead.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
