Nursing Home Manager | Elderly Care

Manchester

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Requirements:

  • RGN or RMN with an active pin
  • Previous management of an elderly care home
  • Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding CQC inspection outcomes
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care whilst developing and empowering staff

The Role

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with an ambitious and expanding elderly care provider in the search for an experienced Registered Home Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established care home that forms part of a growing care home group with exciting long-term plans for expansion. The organisation has invested heavily in its leadership structure and is committed to developing high-quality services whilst creating genuine career progression opportunities for its senior leaders.

As Registered Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring exceptional standards of care, regulatory compliance and operational performance. You will lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, driving a positive culture focused on quality, continuous improvement and resident wellbeing.

Alongside maintaining excellent care standards, you will oversee financial performance, workforce planning, recruitment and quality assurance, whilst building strong relationships with residents, families, commissioners and external professionals.

Candidate

The successful candidate will hold previous or current experience as a Nursing Home Manager alongside an active NMC pin.

You will be able to demonstrate a proven history of delivering strong CQC outcomes and developing high-performing teams through effective coaching, mentorship and engagement. You will possess excellent organisational skills, a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and the commercial acumen required to successfully manage the operational performance of a care home.

This role would suit an ambitious individual who enjoys working collaboratively within a growing organisation, contributing ideas and supporting wider business development whilst always placing residents at the heart of decision-making.

Interview Process

The interview process will be 2 stages.

Location

The role is commutable around Manchester: Warrington, Lymm, Urmston, Leigh, Atherton, Bolton, Prestwich, Denton, Stockport, Altrincham and Knutsford.

Summary
