Nursing Support Worker (Critical Care) – Bronglais General Hospital
Job Overview
Critical Care is looking to recruit hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work as part of their team at Bronglais General Hospital.
The Nursing Support Worker role within Critical Care is to assist qualified nurses in delivering the fundamentals of care to patients. There is an opportunity to:
- Learn new skills
- Gain experience in caring for acutely unwell patients
- Develop professionally within a positive and challenging environment
This role requires candidates to:
- Undertake delegated clinical observations
- Communicate effectively with all multidisciplinary team members
Main Duties
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Nurse in Charge in ensuring critical care operations run smoothly
- Assisting the registered nurse with direct patient care
- Stocking the unit with essential equipment
- Facilitating admissions and discharges
Desirable Qualifications
- Ability to speak Welsh (though English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply)
