About Proven Plate
Proven Plate is a UK-based personalised nutrition platform on a mission to make healthy eating practical, sustainable and culturally inclusive. We create educational content that helps people build healthier habits without giving up the foods they love.
Role Overview
We're looking for a passionate and curious Nutrition Content Researcher & Writer to help us create engaging, evidence-informed content for our growing community.
You'll research nutrition topics, assist with blog writing, and help turn scientific information into easy-to-understand content for social media and our website.
This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in nutrition, public health, dietetics, content writing, or digital marketing.
Responsibilities
- Research evidence-informed nutrition topics using reputable sources.
- Write SEO-friendly blog articles.
- Create newsletter content.
- Develop Instagram carousel content.
- Suggest Reel ideas and educational topics.
- Simplify nutrition concepts into engaging content.
- Research current nutrition trends and frequently asked questions.
- Assist in content planning and editorial calendars.
- Maintain a consistent tone of voice for the Proven Plate brand.

Preferred Qualifications
Studying or graduated in:
- Nutrition
- Dietetics
- Public Health
- Food Science
- Health Sciences
- Biomedical Sciences
- Life Sciences
- Journalism or Communications (with an interest in health)
Skills
- Strong research skills
- Excellent written English
- Ability to explain complex ideas simply
- Familiarity with ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar AI tools
- Basic understanding of SEO (preferred)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
