NVQ L2 Qualified Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser
Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser – Multi-Site Cover (Hampshire)
Location: Across multiple pharmacies in Hampshire Hours: 32–40 hours per week (permanent contract with flexible weekly locations)
About the Role
Day Lewis Pharmacy is seeking a trained dispenser to support operations across multiple Hampshire pharmacies, providing essential pharmacy cover on a rotating basis.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Permanent contract with set working hours (location assigned weekly)
- Flexible deployment to ensure pharmacy needs are met
- Own transport required (fuel reimbursement at 55p per mile, tax-free, plus covered parking)
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across diverse pharmacy teams, learning from senior pharmacists and developing expertise in multiple settings.
Requirements
Essential
- NVQ Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Services Skills (essential)
- Practical experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Dispenser (preferred)
- Personal transport to enable travel between pharmacies

Responsibilities
Key Duties
- Dispensary support: Provide expert assistance in dispensing prescriptions according to company policies and procedures
- Customer service: Deliver superb patient experience on the front counter, offering support, advice, and warmth
- Team collaboration: Work closely with Pharmacist Managers to enhance pharmacy operations and service quality
- Community engagement: Build meaningful relationships with patients and healthcare organisations to ensure personalised service
- Continuous learning: Contribute to the innovative and fast-paced environment of Day Lewis, helping drive forward Saturdayford-hampshire service excellence
