Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser or Pharmacy Technician - Day Lewis Berry Hill

Full-Time Position - 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
- One-hour unpaid lunch break (1:00pm - 2:00pm)

Day Lewis Pharmacy in Berry Hill is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser to join our welcoming team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a busy environment, and wants to develop a career in pharmacy. Whether you are new to pharmacy or already have some experience, we will provide the training, support and development needed for you to succeed.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, you will be an important member of the pharmacy team, helping to deliver outstanding patient care and customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
- Providing a friendly and professional service to patients and customers.
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the dispensary.
- Supporting the delivery of NHS and private pharmacy services.
- Building strong relationships with patients and local healthcare organisations.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming pharmacy environment.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Is reliable, organised and willing to learn.
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Has a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
- Is interested in developing a career within pharmacy and healthcare.
Previous pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Fixed-Term Contract Information
This role is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract. Towards the end of the contract, we will review the needs of the business and your performance within the role. Following this review, there may be opportunities to:
- Make the position permanent at Berry Hill.
- Extend the fixed-term contract.
- Offer a suitable permanent role at a nearby Day Lewis pharmacy.
- Conclude the contract as originally planned.
