Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: Variable shift pattern, including evenings, nights and weekends.

DHL Air is the largest all-cargo air carrier in the UK, operating a fleet of B757-200SF, B767-300F and B777-200F aircraft on worldwide operations. Part of the DHL Express team with our headquarters at East Midlands Airport, we wish to enhance the team to deliver our customer promise of; Excellence, Simply Delivered.
We are looking to appoint a self-motivated individual that is people and service focused. Someone who gets it right first time, shows passion in their work and has the “Can Do” spirit that made DHL world leading in Logistics.
The Role:
- Assist with the day to day running of the Operations Control Centre, working alongside Crewing, Flight Operations and Ground Operations, to provide support for the 24/7 operation.
- Responsible for managing and booking all crew travel and hotel bookings during evenings, weekends or as required.
- Responsible for ordering crew catering and managing all crew catering changes.
- Assist and support the Crewing, Flight Operations and Ground Operations departments with any administrative tasks.
- Deal with phone calls and email requests with regards to crew queries/travel requests.

The Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written command of the English language with good computer skills.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
The Person:
- A hands-on individual experience of working in a faced-paced operational environment.
- Flexible and confident with a positive approach to change and innovation.
- Previous experience in a customer service-based role (advantageous).
- To hold five GCSE’s A-C/9-4 (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
- Experience of the Airline/Aviation industry or a keen interest in this would be highly regarded.
