The experience of an Aston Martin starts long before the engine fires into life. It begins with how a driver feels when they sit behind the wheel, how naturally they interact with the vehicle, and how every touchpoint creates a sense of confidence, comfort and connection.

We're looking for an Occupant & HMI Experience Senior Engineer to help shape those moments.

Joining our Vehicle Engineering team in Gaydon, you'll play a key role in defining and developing the ergonomics, comfort, usability and Human Machine Interface (HMI) experience across our future vehicle programmes. This is a unique opportunity to influence products that combine luxury, performance and cutting-edge technology, ensuring every interaction feels intuitive, purposeful and unmistakably Aston Martin.

You'll work across physical and virtual development environments, turning customer insights, benchmark learning and technical data into experiences that exceed expectations. Whether it's developing ergonomic seating concepts, refining HMI interactions, supporting user clinics or exploring future UX trends, you'll help create vehicles that feel as exceptional to use as they are to drive.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
