Role Outline
This role will be to deliver the OH requirements as agreed in the contract between Health Partners and the client. To liaise with key customer personnel.
- Provide emergency response, treatment service, pre-employments, health surveillance, health promotion, conduct risk assessments and drug and alcohol testing and all other general OH tasks.
What You'll Be Doing
- To provide a full OH/Treatment service in line with the client contract including consultation, clinical assessment & treatment, advice, education, medical assessments and D&A testing where appropriate and in accordance with patient group directives and departmental protocols.
- To provide professional advice, support and guidance to the client and wider multidisciplinary team.
- To assess clients presenting to Occupational Health providing sound clinical advice and treatment.
- To assess client’s fitness to work for the appropriate job role in line with HP policies and guidelines and issue appropriate fitness certificates.
- To write letters to GP/Specialists in line with the Access to Medical Reports Act and Data Protection Act.
- To provide clinical assessment of clients presenting with minor illness and injury.
- To maintain appropriate records in line with departmental protocols on record keeping.
- To provide health surveillance in accordance with current legislation and in line with DHC policies and guidelines.
- To provide clinical support to the first aid provision on site.
- To assist in the provision of health promotion and wellbeing on site.

What We Are Looking For
Previous experience working in Occupational Health is essential for this role coupled with case management and pre-placement questionnaires. You will have experience in health surveillance and safety critical assessments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required with ability to manage and prioritise your own workload.
Hours
This is a role where you will be working 15 hours a week over two days.
Location
This role is based at our client's site in Acton and surrounding areas.
