RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We are hiring a Occupational Health Nurse (Part time) to a Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Location: On-site – Dublin, Ireland
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities

  • Champion the health, safety, and wellbeing of all hospital employees.
  • Deliver comprehensive occupational health services and professional clinical support.
  • Conduct pre-employment health assessments and fitness-to-work screenings.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee occupational health records.
  • Manage employee immunisation and vaccination programmes, including recall systems.
  • Provide guidance on infection prevention, blood-borne disease protection, and COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health legislation, health and safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Support and participate in JCI accreditation activities and ensure adherence to hospital policies.
  • Advise management on evolving occupational health guidance, legislation, and workplace health risks.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to lead occupational health initiatives and improve staff wellbeing.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a valid and up-to-date NMBI registration.
  • Occupational Health Nursing qualification or a Health, Safety & Welfare at Work Diploma (or willingness to commence upon appointment).
  • Knowledge of occupational health practices, including return-to-work programmes, absence management, and immunisation services.
  • Proficient in computer applications, databases, report preparation, and administrative tasks.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, and interpersonal skills with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
