The vacancy will be in the General Medicine team to start with, but then you may have an opportunity to rotate into another service area on the established rotation at a later date.
You will work in a Team based structure with senior OT leads, but you will also be an integral part of the speciality MDT working closely with Physiotherapists to provide an integrated approach to assessment and discharge.
We Can Offer
- A supportive working environment with regular supervision
- An opportunity to join the preceptorship programme
- Support to develop your own competency and skills
- Opportunity to contribute to service development
If you are newly qualified and awaiting registration and OT PIN number, we may be able to start you as a Band 4 whilst you are waiting to avoid delay with start date.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Before applying, employees must discuss the opportunity with their current line manager to confirm whether they may be released from their substantive role if successful. Release to undertake a secondment is not an automatic entitlement and must be agreed by all relevant parties: the employee, their current line manager, and the recruiting line manager.
